So close and yet so far for the Marshalltown Boys Bobcat bolwing team. nine pins were all that sperated the bowlers from a state title, as the Bobcats finsihed second behind Southeast Polk, 3210 to 3202 at the state tourney in Waterloo.

Lucas Kramer led the cats, finishing second with a 479 series.

Bobcat girl bowler Karlie Potter finished sixth in the state with a 415 series.
