The Marshall County Engineers Office may not be plowing snow in the county right now, but that doesn’t mean the maintenance vehicles aren’t out on the road.
County Engineer Paul Geilenfeldt says the muddy county roads provide a challenge. as he doesn’t want to drop rock everywhere only to have it plowed away into ditches later. Geilenfeldt says drivers can help out.
Geilenfeldt pointed out to the Board of Supervisors this morning that since all trucks are outfitted with plows, that extra weight makes it hard to haul a full load of rocks as it is.
