It’s a question that has been asked frequently over the past seven months. How does a downtown business, smashed up by a tornado, bounce back? The latest answer will be available early next week when the Black Tire Bike Company re-opens in its Main Street location in Marshalltown. Owner Matt Gerstandt  says it’s been quite the learning curve. but he hopes the new and improved Black Tire Bike Company will be a “wow” when folks see the new store front and a bike shop that has doubled in size.
