A Colfax women died after a car pulled out in front of here on Highway 163.

A minivan driven by Greg Weldon pulled out from a stop sign at Prairie Avenue in Jasper County. Kathryn McLain’s car hit the minivan. McLain was taken to Iowa Methodist where she later died. Weldon was taken to Pella Regional Health.
