With governor Kim Reynolds indicating that more restrictions may be lifted this week, the number of COvid-19 cases…and deaths continues to escalate.

Six deaths were reported yesterday, bringing the total to 118.

The number of confirmed cases in the state is now 5,476. 35 of the new cases were in Marshall County, where the total is now 380. Tama County now has 263, Jasper 83, Poweshiek County 50 and Story County has 23.

The number of negative tests is now over 30,000.
