The Nebraska State Fair Board has given the go-ahead to a scaled-down version of the state fair this year that focuses on 4-H and FFA livestock programs.
The plan calls for 4-H exhibits and contests to take place
on the first weekend of the fair, which begins August 28th, with FFA activities
on the second weekend.
Officials say some other fair events could also take place
as long as they fit within state health guidelines.
