Direct cash cattle trade activity is quiet. Packer inquiry has been limited with just a few scattered bids noted in parts of Kansas at $96 to $96.75 live. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $98 plus live and $160 dressed. There’s been a moderate trade take place this week with Northern dressed business mostly at $157 to $158 and Southern trade was at mostly $96. There could be some additional business develop today, but it’s more than likely trade has wrapped for the week.
