Director of congressional relations Andrew Walmsley says AFBF favors the Growing Climate Solutions Act.
“This is a bipartisan bill that was introduced in the Senate and now the House. It meets our policy (criteria), and we thought it was important as we go through this process that we could be for something. Because there’s going to be some really bad policy ideas that we’re going to have to be against.”
During a webinar hosted by Minnesota Farm Bureau Thursday, he said the bill is all about providing information to producers.
