The U.S. Senate passed the Grain Standards Reauthorization Act Monday.  Ag Committee Chairman Pat Roberts says the full Senate voted unanimously in favor of the bill, which he says will allow America to continue fostering a healthy domestic grain market and positive relationships with trading partners.  Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow says as farmers face unprecedented uncertainty and trade instability, it is vital to maintain the integrity of the grain inspection system.

The Grain Standards Reauthorization package has been forwarded to the House for further action.
