Brownfield’s Meghan Grebner spoke with National Pork Board’s vice president of sustainability Brett Kaysen about the sustainability efforts of the nation’s pig farmers.  Kaysen says producers are innovative and continue to achieve new sustainability goals.  He also provides a look at what producers are doing as they work to meet consumer expectations.

Domestic demand for pork has been a bright spot during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Angie Krieger, vice president of domestic marketing with the National Pork Board talks about what the Pork Checkoff is doing to help drive demand for pork products, like ground pork, which has seen sales surge 24 percent recently.
