At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle ended the day higher, waiting for direct cash business to develop. April live cattle closed $.35 higher at $119.12 and June live cattle closed $1.12 higher at $120.05. March feeder cattle closed $.37 higher at $135.45 and April feeder cattle closed $.32 higher at $139.75.
Direct cash cattle trade activity was at a standstill on Tuesday. Bids and asking prices still have yet to surface.
