National Ag Day is about getting the farmers’ story to the rest of the world. The message from Missouri Governor Mike Parson – who is also a farmer – is that the vast majority of policy makers are not involved in agriculture.
“Most of the people that sit in those [elected position] seats are not farmers, are not in the arena of agriculture,” said Parson, during a virtual National Ag Day observance, Tuesday.
