At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle ended the day higher waiting for widespread direct cash business. April live cattle closed $1.35 higher at $122.72 and June live cattle closed $.20 higher at $124.62. April feeder cattle closed $.02 higher at $146.47 and May feeder cattle were unchanged at $151.77.
A quiet Tuesday for direct cash cattle trade. Bids surfaced in Kansas at $120 to $121 live. Asking prices were around $121 plus live in the South.
