Michigan’s egg industry has been sharing how eggs get from the chicken to the grocery store as part of this Easter season.
Michigan Allied Poultry Industry executive director Allison Brink tells Brownfield seven egg farms care for more than 15 million laying hens in Michigan, making it sixth in the nation for egg production.
“Once a hen lays an egg, the process which ensues to get those eggs to your refrigerator is actually quite fascinating,” she says.
