The piggy bank is filling up for this summer’s 4th of July Fireworks display in Marshalltown. A few weeks ago, the Marshalltown City Council said they would match $12,500 in money raised for the fireworks to spend 25-grand on the event. 1st Ward Councilor Mike Ladehoff says they are off to a good fund raising start.
