If you are need of some good, you have a couple of opportunities this week in the Marshalltown area.
The Salvation Army has received a donation of frozen meat with pre-portioned combos of beef, chicken, pork and fish.
The boxes will be given out today and tomorrow between 9:30 and noon and 1:00 and 3:30.
On Saturday, Cornerstone Church of Marshalltown will be again be working with USDA Farmers to Families to hand out 930 boxes of food, each with 30 pounds worth of milk, meat and produce. These will be handed out at the City parking lot at 111 West Church, but with construction on West Church, you will need to access the parking from South 2nd Street, The food boxes will be available beginning at 10:00 am.
