A lot of talk about streets in Marshalltown since Monday’s City Council meeting. Many streets are beyond cosmetic repairs, but to get the jobs done will take a lot of money…Councilor Bill Martin says it’s time to figure out what and how to accomplish that.

Martin says it may be time to look at raising the city’s self-imposed debt limit…or put other projects on the back burner to concentrate on street renovation.
