Nebraska Farm Bureau President Mark McHargue says the organization is working to improve the state’s tax structure to help grow the ag economy. “There is lots of conversations going on about comprehensive tax reform. What’s that going to look like? What are the parts and the pieces? We’ve been involved in those conversations considerably this summer and look forward to engaging as we move into the fall on that.”
He tells Brownfield a balanced approach would help provide property tax relief.
