This evening is the final meeting of the year for the Marshalltown City Council…and it will be the final meeting for outgoing Councilors Bethan Wirin, Mike Gowdy and Bill Martin. City Administrator Jessica Kinser says they have plans to honor all three that evening at a reception.

The festivities at the Coliseum will begin right after the adjournment of the Council meeting, which may be between 6:15 and 6:30.

Also on the meeting agenda, The South Tama County School Board meets in special session at 5:00.
