The head of a state Corn Growers Association says he’s disappointed by the Biden administration’s lack of trade progress and it’s hurting the agriculture industry.

Andy Jobman grows corn and soybeans in Southwest Nebraska. “They just seem really disengaged in working with us to further trade with our end users across the world.”

He tells Brownfield the outlook for this year’s ag economy will largely depend on increasing export markets. “Trade is such a huge bottom line for every producer across the U.S.,” Jobman says.
