Students and staff at the GMG Secondary School in Garwin are looking to return to normal operation after a water main break in early January, which prompted the school to completely shut down for an extended period of time.

Now, several weeks later, the necessary repairs have been made and the school is again looking forward to resuming normal operations again next week.

Later this week, upper class students at GMG Secondary School will be getting things situated again as the school prepares to return to normal capacity again next week.

GMG Secondary School Principal Jaimie Gargas says he’s very much appreciative of the cooperative effort that’s been put forth by everyone within the school district to make things work out for the better during a most difficult time.

Full-time classes are setr to resume for both students and staff at the GMG Secondary School in Garwin on Monday, March 7th.
