U.S. tractor and combine sales fell for a second straight month in April.

Curt Blades with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers says declines in sales aren’t due to a lack of demand. “That’s largely because of supply chain issues,” he said. “You drive by dealer lots and you see there’s not a lot of inventory of new equipment or used equipment. I think the demand is certainly there.”

He tells Brownfield there was growth in the 100-plus horsepower two-wheel-drive segment.
