A southern Michigan farmer says a challenging growing season led to some mixed harvest results.
Laurie Isley tells Brownfield she had an above average soybean crop. “We started out really, really dry and so we had a lot of concerns going into it, but we got some really timely rains in August and September and those were money makers for us.”
But she says corn has been a different story. “We’re in still in the process of getting our corn out of the field.
