It may feel like spring outside, but we are still in the middle of winter.  That warm weather should have people thinking about the spring and potential updates needed for their house or yard.  Sometimes updates require digging in the right of way, and there is a process to make sure no lines are hit.

That is Public Works Director, Heather Thomas, she mentions that on several occasions in the last few years where sewer lines were hit.  Contracts can get help finding the lines, they just need to call a number.

Contractors should work with the city to make sure all updates are up to code as well.  Don’t spend a lot of money just to have it ripped out later due to city code.
