The Marshalltown Community School Board Meeting on Monday had a presentation by the Director of Business Operations Randy Denham about the fiscal year 2025 budget. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Theron Schutte joined the KFJB line for Ask the Newsmakers on Tuesday to give some more detail.
The most recent tax levy from the school was also $15.99. The school plans to increase the PPEL portion of the levy to help building and grounds, but it will still keep the levy at $15.99
That special election is coming up on March 5th
