A collision between a side by side UTV and vehicle happened yesterday in Marshall County. Around 3:45 yesterday afternoon, the Marshall County Communication Center received a call about a crash involving a car and an UTV in the 1000 mile of 190th St. in Marshall County.
Once on scene, first responders found the driver of the UTV was seriously injured and transported them to the Des Moines hospital by air ambulance. The occupants of the vehicle, a Ford SUV, were not injured in the accident. The roadway was closed for nearly 3 hours for the crash investigation.
The crash is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
