Yesterday was a beautiful day in Central Iowa and today looks to be about the same.  Local Farmer and Farm Bureau Board Member, Ethan Crow, was excited that we got some rain this spring but he is ready for some dry weather.

He says the moisture overall is good as that will help the planting process, and farmers always hope for a nice rain after seeds are in the ground.

While Iowa has spent much of the last few years in drought conditions, Marshall County shows no drought conditions according to the US Drought Monitor.  Iowa as a whole has about 5% of the state in at least Moderate Drought
