The Pittsburg Pirates on Sunday beat the Saint Louis Cardinals 4-1 at PNC Park in Pittsburg. Left handed pitcher Francisco Liriano helped lead the way with 10 strike outs and an rbi single. Matt Carpenter plated Yadier Molina withe the only Saint Louis run. Adam Wainwright took the loss.
