The second-ranked Kansas Jayhawks have an eight-game winning streak after winning a tough battle against No. 19 Baylor.

Frank Mason III scored 19 points and Perry Ellis had 15 as the Jayhawks pulled out a 66-60 win over the Bears in Waco, Texas. Landen Lucas put Kansas ahead to stay with a tiebreaking layup with 3:03 remaining. Lucas had 10 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who lead the Big 12 Conference by two games over West Virginia with three games remaining.

Al Freeman hit four 3-poiners and finished with 17 points for Baylor.
