A free legal clinic for those affected by the July 19th tornado will be held on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Anson Elementary School. MICA, Alliant Energy and Iowa Legal Aid are joining forces to sponsor and conduct the clinic. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may call 485-3596 to make an appointment.
Emergency funding for home repair is available through the Region 6 Housing Trust Fund.
The help is for those who qualify based on household income and size. Region 6 says due to limited funding, it may prioritize essential improvements, such as roofing.
