Folks who used the online option to pay for their parking tickets in Ames between July 30th and September 12th may have had their info hacked.
The City its server that connects to the third-party vendor that processes the tickets was breached. That may affect the info of nearly 1,500 customers who paid their tickets with credit or debit cards, in addition to their names and addresses.
The City says no suspicious activity has yet been reported due to the breach.
