Announced earlier this spring, the 4^th of July firework show has moved locations in Marshalltown.  Instead of having the firework show at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds, they will be shot off at the 6^th St. Softball Complex.

That is City Councilor Mike Ladehoff, he is also part of the planning committee for the 4^th of July celebration.  He said there will be activities happening at the Softball Complex, but people can park elsewhere.

They will shut down at 4pm that day because all of the activities at the 6^th Street Softball complex will start.  If you’d like to support these activities, you can drop off a check at the Central Business District in Downtown Marshalltown.
